How to use mullein for colds

1- Bring two cups of water to boil and add a teaspoon of mullein leaves. Allow it to steep for about 10 minutes. Strain in a cup and add honey to sweeten it. Drink warm before bed. Continue the use for a week.

Onion for colds:

Onion is known for its antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, therefore is used worldwide in treating a number of ailments including colds. 2- If somebody is suffering from cold, place a peeled white onion cut in half in a bowl in his/her room

3-Another great way to use onion for colds, fever and flu is to place a peeled, cut onion in the bottom of each foot and wear socks to secure. Leave the onion sock overnight.

4-Consuming raw onion is equally good. So eat a lot of onion salad for fast recovery from colds.

Epsom salt soak really works by detoxifying and increasing the white blood cells count which help the body to fight off viruses and bacteria’s and speed up the healing process. Once you realize that you are getting a cold, immediately soak in Epsom salt bath. Epsom salt bath will relieve the aches and pains too alongside fighting the symptoms of cold.

Epsom salt bath for colds

1-Fill your bathtub with hot water (as hot as bearable). Put a cup of Epsom salt and a half cup of baking soda. You can also use some ginger slices. Now soak your body in this salt bath for at least 20 minutes. But if you are a newbie, do not exceed over 20 minutes. You can use this salt soak one or two times a week. Rest for 30 minutes after the bath.
