Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is a natural lubricant and could safely be used to get rid of laryngitis. Aloe lubricate and help keep the throat from scratching and tingling due to dryness. The antiviral properties of aloe Vera helps combat viruses and also disinfect the throat.

You will need

  • Pure aloe gel 1 tablespoon
  • Water 1 glass

Mix a tablespoon of fresh aloe Vera gel in a glass of water. Drink before bed.

Echinacea

Echinacea, also known as cone flower, is a potent herb for treating laryngitis. The immune boosting and stimulating properties of the herb, along with the antibacterial and antiviral properties, helps fight off bacteria and viruses that may be causing the problem.

  • Echinacea (dry powder) 1 teaspoon
  • Hot water 1 cup

Add one teaspoon of Echinacea herb in a cup of boiling water. Steep for at least 10 minutes. Strain and drink warm. Drink this tea twice or three times a day.

Chew slowly a fresh garlic clove and then swallow it.

If you find eating raw garlic very daring, crush some cloves and mix it with honey. Keep aside for few hours. Take a tablespoon of honey twice or three times a day for 2 days.

Ginger
