You will need

  • Apple cider vinegar as required
  • Vaseline petroleum jelly/vitamin E
  • Cotton balls
  • Waterproof tape

Every night before getting into bed, smear the skin surrounding the wart with Vaseline petroleum jelly. Dip a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar till fully saturated. Now put the saturated cotton on the wart and completely cover the area with a waterproof tape. Remove the tape and the cotton in the morning. Follow the procedure every night for a month or so and the wart will drop off.

Garlic

Garlic helps zap warts due to its anti-viral and caustic properties that kills virus and keep them at bay. Besides using garlic externally, it is also recommended to eat garlic to boost the immune system to fight off the virus.

Remedy 1

You will need

  • Garlic powder 1/2teaspoon
  • Water as required
  • Adhesive tape

Mix 1/2teaspoon garlic powder with enough water to make a paste. Combine the ingredients well .Coat the skin surrounding the wart with Vitamin E oil or Vaseline petroleum jelly. Garlic can burn the skin, therefore for safe use, take a piece of adhesive tape and cut a small hole (about size of the wart) in the middle of the tape for the wart. Carefully apply the tape with the hole on the wart, so that the surrounding area left unaffected when you apply the garlic. Now apply the paste on the wart and cover the area with a bandage. Repeat the procedure daily by applying fresh paste and also change the bandage each time, only remove when taking a bath. It will take a week or two and the wart will dissolve.

Remedy 2

You will need

  • Garlic 2-3 bulbs
  • Olive oil as required
  • Adhesive tape

If you don’t want to use garlic powder, raw mashed garlic will also do the job. Just cover the garlic bulbs with olive oil. Keep it overnight in the refrigerator. Strain out the garlic the next day. For safe use, take a piece of adhesive tape and cut a small hole (about size of the wart) in the middle of the tape for the wart. Carefully apply the tape with the hole on the wart, so that the surrounding area left unaffected when you apply the garlicky oil. Now apply the oil directly on the wart once daily.

Banana peel

Covering the wart with a banana peel is an extremely effective remedy to speed up a wart’s departure. Banana peel contains curative properties which are believed to fight the wart causing virus.

You will need

  • Banana peel
  • Waterproof tape

Put a piece of banana peel that is slightly bigger than the wart, on the affected area. Make sure to lay the inner side of the banana peel facing towards the wart. Cover the area with a tape. Repeat this remedy daily with fresh banana peel and waterproof tape, only remove when taking a bath. The wart will drop off within several weeks

Fresh Celandine

Celandine (chelidonium majus) is an amazing herb which can commendably dissolve a wart. Celandine contains compounds such as sanguinarine, proteolyctic enzymes and chelerythrine which are believed to inhibit wart virus and even have the potential to kill the virus.

You will need

  • Fresh celandine latex
  • Adhesive tape

For safe use, take a piece of adhesive tape and cut a small hole in the middle of the tape for the wart. Carefully apply the tape with the hole on the wart, so that the surrounding area left unaffected. Break a fresh leaf of the plant and apply the latex (orange-yellow colored) on the wart twice a day. Repeat the remedy for one or two weeks.

Pineapple juice

Pineapple (annanas comosus) contains the protein-dissolving enzyme “bromelain” which has anti-inflammatory attributes which help zap warts.

You will need

  • Pineapple
  • Tape

Cut a piece of pineapple a bit larger than the wart to fully cover it. Every night before getting into bed, put the piece of pineapple directly on the wart and tape it. Remove in the morning and reapply each night for several weeks.
